In order to eliminate the chance of fuel pump problems we strongly suggest purchasing a rewire kit with any high volume fuel pump.
As you go faster and make more power you need more fuel. When you need more fuel you need a higher volume fuel pump. That's where we come in. Utilizing our 255lph fuel pump we have put together this kit custom tailored for your 97+ W Body. Included in our kit is the following:
- 255 lph fuel pump
- Pump Plug Harness
- Butt connectors (2)
- Hose Clamps (2)
- Fuel Pump Sock
- Corrugated fuel hose (not pictured)
As of 6/24/09 we have only experienced two pump failures. W Body Store pumps have experienced a reliability track record high above other vendors offering the same style pump.
Please note: This pump is a less expensive alternative to the Racetronix 255lph plug and play kit. The Racetronix kit requires no wiring and retains the stock venturi pump operation. While our pump is very easy to install we understand some may prefer the Racetronix setup which can be found here.
Corrugated plastic hose in the stock assembly is easily broken when removing. Rather than risk breaking this and having to wait for a replacement, we include this hose in the kit free of charge.
Please note: Pumps are warrantied for 90 from the date of purchase
2001+ Vehicles with plastic fuel tanks will need to use the Venturi setup. All non-supercharged vehicles and supercharged vehicles from 1997 - 2000 use the non-venturi setup. The switchover for plastic fuel tanks happened sometime in 2001 so if you have a 2001, bang on your tank to see if it's metal or plastic and then order the appropriate pump.
