Looking to step up your braking power without stepping out of your price range? Try out our 12" brake kit for your 97' - 03' W body. There are many benefits to the kit including a larger contact patch, better heat transfer properties (much less prone to warping), significantly lighter calipers (less unsprung weight), and easy installation.
Newer Impalas and Monte Carlos with the 12" stock brakes will also notice a significant upgrade in stopping ability by swapping to these calipers (purchase a kit with no rotors). Our kit includes the following:
- 2 Fully Assembled PBR Dual Piston Calipers w/ metal pistons
- 4 Performance Brake Pads
- 2 Caliper bracket
- 2 Banjo bolts
- 4 Crush washers
- 4 Machined sleeves
- 4 Hardened Bolts
This kit is also better known as the F-Body Upgrade.

Banjo Bolt Torque settings - Banjo bolts should be torqued to 20 ft/lbs.
How does this differ from your 12" Single piston kit? This upgrade uses a lighter, aluminum, PBR dual piston caliper. In addition to having more surface area (pad to rotor) the 2 pistons also spread the load out over the longer pad giving it a higher effective clamp load. Since the calipers are aluminum, there is also a weight savings to be had over the stock cast iron, single piston calipers.
