A week spot on the W Bodies are their sway bars which are rather small for acceptable handling. As well the stock rubber bushings often fail in as little as 40,000 miles resulting in even worse handling. Well we have the solution: Larger sway bars!
- Includes New Bushings and endlinks (front) and new bushings (rear)
- Used to tune out understeer or oversteer (see below)
- Front Sway Bar Diameter: 1.33"
- Rear Sway Bar Diameter: 0.72"
Sway bars are shipped via billable weight and thus carry higher shipping charges

What is understeer/ Oversteer?
- Understeer - Understeer is a phenominon also known as front end plow. Generally understeer occurs under hard cornering and can be desribed as the front end of the car "plowing" forward though the front wheels are turned. This generally means that the front wheels/ suspension has reached it's traction limits and the car has overcome both. Most front wheel drive cars are designed to have a large amount of understeer as it is considered more predictable (though less reactive).
- Oversteer - Oversteer is the same phenominon but with the rear of the car. Oversteer can be described as the rear end of the car coming out around a hard turn. This notes that the rear tires/ suspension has reached it's limitation and the car has overcome one or both.
Which sway bar do I want? - Generally we recommend starting off with the rear sway bar/ suspension as firming up this area will significantly reduce understeer and make the car a lot more responsive and fun to drive. If you have a suspension that is already seriously built up then you might consider adding the front sway bar. We do not recommend installing the front Performance Sway Bar on a car not already equipped with the rear Performance Sway Bar.
Please Note: 2004 Comp G GTPs are already equipped with larger sway bars.
